Advance Design Studio’s founding family has been a cornerstone of the Gilberts, Illinois, community since the early 1900s, with their business roots stretching across twelve decades in the same building at 30 Railroad Street. Originally established in 1992 as Advance Builders, Inc., the company began by specializing in kitchen and bath remodeling, residential renovations, and new home construction throughout the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
In 2002, the business expanded its offerings to include professional design services, leading to the launch of Advance Design Studio, Ltd. The rebranded company provided a more comprehensive approach to home remodeling, combining in-house design with a full-service showroom featuring cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, and lighting. This integration of design and construction allowed the company to offer clients a seamless, all-in-one remodeling experience from initial concept to finished project.
Today, Advance Design Studio continues to thrive in its original location, with a spacious 3,500 square-foot showroom and design hub that serves as the heart of the company. The building remains a prominent feature of Gilberts, nestled between the local firehouse and post office, and the company is proud to maintain its deep connection to the community.
Throughout its growth, the company has remained steadfast in its mission to deliver high-quality craftsmanship and client-focused service. Managing Director
NICK HOLM oversees the leadership and direction of our Construction Managers and field team. He is an integral part of communication between the field and design management, so that the two teams work together to create a uniquely seamless project experience from design through production. His calm demeanor is matched by his skillful ability to strategize solutions to any situation that may arise.
Lead Design Team
Their design expertise combined with skilled navigation through hundreds of product details makes our Project Designers the best remodeling advocates a client could ever want. Our Specialty Designers work diligently behind the scenes to orchestrate the hundreds of details required to produce remodeling projects seemingly effortlessly. Each is blessed with unique talents and training. We couldn’t do a great job without them!
Construction Management
