REMODEL TOUR: FANTASTIC FAMILY BASEMENT
CLIENT GOALS
Like many families, the Reeder’s were in need of additional entertainment space as their kids were getting older. They wanted their basement to feel like a seamless extension of their existing living spaces. Hosting was a priority, so they wanted built-in living areas and storage.
REDESIGNED: BAR & BUILT-INS
ADS Lead Designer Anna helped the Reeder family establish a design that fit their vision and investment goals. Their statement wet bar includes thoughtful seating and storage – perfect for serving refreshments without having to run up and down the stairs!
The existing TV area lacked storage and purpose, but the newly installed built-ins are just what this basement needed. This entertainment hub is perfect for all ages. Movie night, game night, this family basement is ready!
One basement design detail our designers highly recommend is dressing up structural posts. One option for the Reeder’s space was a drywall column around the pole, but Anna suggested paneling to make their space feel more custom and finished.
