Design & Build ContractorFor nearly 25 years, Advance Design has been designing and producing beautiful renovation projects including kitchens and baths, additions and whole-house renovations. The company employs a unique process called “Common Sense Remodeling”, a comprehensive no-nonsense approach to remodeling designed to turn any renovation goal into a predictable, carefully planned step-by-step process that avoids setbacks, re-designs, and budget overruns so prevalent in typical remodeling experiences.

Advance Design manages the multi-faceted details of your project from start to finish, saving you the frustration of having to coordinate qualified professionals from every corner of our industry. With project planning and design, up-front budgeting, product education and selection, quality construction, efficient management, and final wrap up – all under one single source of responsibility; you’ve set the stage from the very beginning to experience the smoothest remodeling project possible with relatively little room for error.

How To Use Houzz To Help With Your Project

So if you haven’t heard of the phenomenon called “Houzz”, let me be the first to share it with you!  Never before in the history of the remodeling industry have so many great design examples been so readily present at the click of a mouse.  Launched only 5 years ago by a Silicon Valley couple who found renovating their home to be a less than easy process, Houzz boasts currently over 26 million photographs posted by design professionals around the world of every conceivable home remodeling project possible.

So how can Houzz be helpful to you?  A couple of ways.  First, as we all, we all know a picture is worth a thousand words.  What better way to get ideas of what you’d like in your new space than to browse hundreds of real life examples?  For years we’ve advised our clients to create an “idea book” of looks they like, and even specific details they desire.  Houzz enables you to do just that easily – right on your computer, and then “share” it with us so that we can quickly get up to speed early on in our design process together.  After you share the 10 white kitchens you’ve fallen in love with, we’ll have a pretty good idea of what makes your heart beat fast!

Check out this recent Houzz review for this spectacular Kitchen Renovation as part of an addition & extensive home renovation in Arlington Heights. We are most fortunate when clients like the Campbell’s take the time to share with you details about their remodeling experience:

Kitchen Renovation in Arlington Heights

“We completed an addition/major renovation of our first and second floors including a new kitchen, powder room, mud room, 2nd bath and master suite. Christine and Todd provided exceptional service. We were only 4% over budget, 1% related to unforeseen expenses, and 3% related to additions we wanted to make during the renovation. Every concern, be it minor or major was immediately addressed and resolved. The entire crew was kind, friendly, responsive and clean! We have heard nightmare stories from friend’s experiences related to their contractors related to long delays, grossly added expenses and crew not showing up for days. Without exception, the Advance Design crew was at our house EVERY day and they finished within 1 month of our completion date (related to unforeseen weather). It was so very helpful to have both Christine and Todd guide us through this process including edits to the architect plans and design advice. We are thrilled with our major home renovation and have had Advance Design out for 2 other minor projects since that time.

We have highly recommended Advance Design to our friends and family. Our kitchen is amazing! It is the central focus of our home and our family. It is big, tremendously functional as well as warm and inviting. As I mentioned earlier, Advance Design was not our lowest bid. However, we chose them because of the level of detail in their bid, the drawings of our completed home and the trust we felt with Christine and Todd. We also called some of their previous clients and they had a reputation of being on budget, completing on time and being responsive.”   – Teri & Paul Campbell , Arlington Heights
